You may select the metal, finish and diffuser as well. These post lanterns easily mount to your column by use of a supplied mounting pan which is securely anchored to your base. Then the lantern itself screws into the mounting pan to secure the light fixture. Changing the bulb is a simple as lifting the lid off and reaching down into the fixture.
This lamp can use a 250 watt incandescent bulb or any LED or CFL medium base screw in type bulb.
