The copper fixtures are typically sealed with an industrial lacquer for lasting beauty. They will not continue to patina unless you choose raw copper or ask us to forego the sealer. All Lightcrafters lighting mount to any standard junction box in minutes. Please use clear bulbs up to 60 watts incandescent or any size LED bulbs to achieve the lighting effect as shown on the website. Clear bulbs create the cool display on your walls. Frosted bulbs will work too but you'll just get a glow in lieu the striations. Standard A19 medium base bulbs available everywhere.
